The Annala collection draws its inspiration and design from Finnish nature. The colors and patterns of our fabrics are timeless and eminently suited for both homes and public spaces.

The fabric’s vivid structure, its velvety softness, the authenticity of wool, the rustic roughness of linen, natural colors, the harmony of the patterns and the glow of the colors, these all create the authentic feeling and look that we have in mind when designing the fabric. It is the magic of textiles that brings life to any space, making it inviting, homely and personal. We take all this into account in the design so that the textile you choose will remain good-looking and long-lasting both at home and in public spaces. Environmental friendliness is a fundamental element in the design as we choose durable, chemical-free and as natural materials as possible for our fabrics.

Over three generations of know-how, combined with the innovative use of the latest technology in both design and production, contribute to ensuring the high quality of our interior fabrics.

Our modern computer-aided design system also enables fabrics tailored to customer requirements to be weaved even with a short delivery time.

HIGH-QUALITY COLLECTION

The abundance of patterns and the properties of each individual fabric guarantee the high quality of our collection. Annala's collection includes dozens of fabrics, each with several colour options.

Our fabrics are mainly woven into synthetic warps and offer excellent technical characteristics and feel pleasant in use. They also meet the latest fire safety standards. Annala’s know-how of weaving, gathered over decades, ensures that the high quality and standard of weaving. Modern computers alone are not enough as there is still a lot of handicraft involved. Production at Annala’s own weaving mill and a nearby dyeing plant forms the basis for consistent and prompt delivery.

EXCELLENT SERVICE

In most cases, we are able to deliver the ordered fabric directly from our warehouse. The delivery times for special production fabrics are about 3-5 weeks. Fabrics manufactured for a customer project are designed together with architects, designers and customers, based on the current need, quality and colour specifications, taking into account fire safety standards. We can produce even small special batches – please, ask for more information.

If you wish, we also help you with the whole interior design project to provide other textiles, including carpets, bed covers, cushions and curtains. This way we make sure that the selected Annala fabrics will suit splendidly with the rest of the decor. We have our own sewing service to complete your project.

Most of Annala's upholstery fabrics go to contract interior projects in public spaces, such as hotels, restaurants, ships and theatres.

References from recent years include: The wall and ceiling acoustic fabrics of the Finnish Parliament House, the VR-Group State Railways and several large hotel chains in Finland.

Among our more than 1,000 customers are furniture factories, furniture stores and upholstery shops as well as architectural and interior design offices.

CUSTOMER PROJECTS & SPECIAL FABRICS

If you are planning a project where upholstery fabrics and other interior decoration textiles require a unique touch and high quality and, for example, need to be washable or fire resistant or have an exclusive woven pattern, then your first choice must be Annala.

  • Many Annala fabrics are customized by changing the material or color to suit the customer’s wishes; the minimum for such orders is approx. 5–50 meters.
  • When required, we weave the fabrics with special fire-resistant materials.
  • We can also design and weave a completely new pattern and fabric, to meet the customer’s wishes and requirements; the minimum order is 50–100 meters, depending on the desired material and color.
  • The customer will benefit from Annala’s know-how and expertise, safeguarding a high quality fabric which will meet all the specifications and requirements.
  • Our CAD Jacquard weaving machine will copy the drawn and designed pattern with astonishing accuracy. The customer will get the first fabric samples in about one week.
  • The delivery schedule for special fabrics is about 3–5 weeks.
